This exceptional vintage port from Churchill's uses grapes sourced exclusively from the vineyards of Quinta da Gricha, which is located on the south bank of the Douro between Pinhão and Tua. Like all other Churchill’s Ports, it has been treaded by foot in traditional granite lagares (treading tanks) before being matured in seasoned oak casks.
This vintage is an outstanding exemplar of single Quinta port and a fantastic introduction to the category. It has a dark purple colour, concentrated blueberry aromas, and is rich and full-bodied with excellent balance and plenty of grip on the finish.
Churchill's Quinta da Gricha Vintage Port has an ageing potential of +30 years, reaching its best from +8 years.
